Diagnosed with hearing loss at age 4, Sarah courageously overcame challenges with the help of American’s inclusive benefits and the American Airlines Family Fund, including cochlear implant surgery and specialty hearing aids.
“I am grateful for the efforts made by our leaders to foster an inclusive environment that listens and takes action to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities,” said Sarah. “By understanding these needs, we are breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for these individuals to truly thrive.”
As part of our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team and Abilities Employee Business Resource Group, Sarah advocates for an inclusive environment for team members and customers of all backgrounds and abilities.
