Taylor Swift forgets Brittany Mahomes and has new friends at Chiefs games: Who are Chariah Gordon and Sheawna Weathersby?
Taylor Swift continues to keep Brittany Mahomes at arms’ distance following her controversial Donald Trump-JD Vance incident, as she was spotted with different Kansas City Chiefs’ women on Sunday, September 15.
The Chiefs earned a close 26-25 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals thanks to Harrison Butker’s late field goal as the clock ticked down to zero, meaning they continue their 100% record at the start of the 2024/25 NFL season.
And many would have expected Swift and Mahomes to celebrate it together in the executive boxes, but there was a remarkable twist as the Eras Tour star was spotted courting Mecole Hardman’s fiancée and Chris Jones’ girlfriend instead.
Photos captured her hanging out with Chariah Gordon and Sheawna Weathersby as they watched the Week 2 clash. The trio posed for the camera, with the 34-year-old billionaire rocking a retro 1995 Chiefs’ jersey.
She was also spotted excitedly hugging Gordon, who’s boyfriend caught the touchdown to end Super Bowl LVIII, whilst wearing her iconic red lipstick as they watched their men play at the Arrowhead Stadium.
Gordon and Weathersby coordinated their outfits by choosing to wear white t-shirts, low-cut denim shorts and matching wrist bands, although they differed in their shoes as Gordon chose heels whilst Weathersby selected red and white hi-tops.
Why isn’t Swift hanging out with Brittany Mahomes?
So far, Swift and the pregnant Brittany haven’t been spotted together at the Arrowhead Stadium despite the closeness of their two lovers, who operate one of the greatest quarterback-tight end dynamics in NFL history.
It comes after Brittany appeared to endorse JD Vance and Donald Trump in the 2024 United States Presidential Race, by liking a post praising the Republican ticket who are widely condemned as being anti-women’s rights.
The popstar, meanwhile, has endorsed Kamala Harris and seems to be giving Patrick Mahomes’ wife the cold shoulder for the moment – at least at football games anyway, perhaps allowing the situation to cool off.
Despite that, they were spotted enjoying each other and having a good time at the 2024 US Open at the Arthur Ashe Stadium as Jannik Sinner went on to defeat Taylor Fritz in the men’s singles final.
