Djokovic’s Dominance Continues: 100 Weeks Clear of Federer in 2024 ATP Rankings, Sinner’s Milestone”

 

 

In the latest ATP Rankings update, Novak Djokovic maintains his No. 1 position, extending his record-breaking reign to 410 weeks, a remarkable 100 weeks ahead of Roger Federer. Despite a semi-final loss at the Australian Open, Djokovic secured his top spot, with Carlos Alcaraz trailing by just 600 points in second place.

 

Meanwhile, rising star Jannik Sinner achieved a career milestone, breaking through the 8,000-point barrier after winning the Australian Open. Sinner now stands just 455 points behind Djokovic, marking a significant advancement in his career.

 

In the rest of the top 10, minor shifts occurred, with Hubert Hurkacz reaching a career-high No. 8, and Stefanos Tsitsipas dropping three places to No. 10 following his fourth-round exit in Melbourne.

 

Outside the top 10, notable movements include Frances Tiafoe climbing to No. 14, Adrian Mannarino reaching a career-high No. 17, and Miomir Kecmanovic surging 19 places to No. 41. Further down the list, Nuno Borges of Portugal enters the top 50 for the first time at No. 47, while several other players experience significant jumps in their rankings.

 

The British contingent sees Cameron Norrie returning to the top 20 at No. 20, while Dan Evans drops to No. 42, Andy Murray sits at No. 49, and Jack Draper is two places below Murray. Liam Broady holds the No. 97 position.
